The Twin Ring Motegi was opened in 1997. The circuit consists of 14 turns; 6 left corners and 8 right corners, with the longest straight measuring 0.762km.
The circuit has a series of slow corners and one of the longest straights compared to other circuits within the competition. The circuit also boasts the Honda Collection Hall, a museum housing a collection of Honda motorcycle, cars and racing-orientated artefacts.
